Lake Superior's Wooden Boat Festival

The 13th Annual "Woodies on the Water" (now known as Lake Superior's Wooden Boat Festival) will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 10 AM to 4:30 PM at Barker's Island Marina in Superior, Wisconsin.
The show is the largest wooden and classic boat show on Lake Superior and features vintage and new boats of all kinds - pulling boats, runabouts, power boats, sailboats, canoes and kayaks.
The public is invited to vote for "best of" in four classes, plus "Best of Festival."
Music provided by Madison Avenue North - a touch of jazz to augment the fine wooden boats.
The festival is free to the public.
